24-hour food in downtown Albany: what's coming to South Pearl Street

July 23, 2026 · Olive & Oregano

Downtown Albany has had few around-the-clock food options. Olive & Oregano is a grab-and-go kitchen on South Pearl Street built to run 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday, with takeout, delivery and catering, with no dine-in. It sits steps from MVP Arena.

When is it open?

The model is around-the-clock service Monday through Saturday: the kitchen opens Monday at 5:00am and runs continuously, closing Sunday at 4:00am, then reopening Monday. Sunday is closed. This is 24-hour, six-day service, built for early mornings, quick lunches, and late-night cravings.

What kind of food?

Two kitchens: Dominican and Greek. Hearty Dominican plates (stewed chicken, pernil, rotisserie chicken, rice and beans, tostones) alongside fresh Greek food (gyros, souvlaki, vegetable dishes and authentic Greek salad), plus signature salads and all-day breakfast sandwiches.

How does ordering work?

It is takeout, pickup, delivery and catering only. There is no dine-in. Catering is what we are taking right now, by phone; online ordering reopens when we open.
